Mirjan Fort
Mirjan Fort is a historic structure located near Kumta, surrounded by lush greenery and laterite walls. Sadashivgad Fort is a historic site located near Karwar, overlooking the Kali River as it meets the Arabian Sea. Haliyal Fort, also known as Shivaji Fort, is a historic site located on the outskirts of Haliyal town in Uttara Kannada. Originally built by the Kadamba rulers and later strengthened by Chhatrapati Shivaji, the fort features laterite walls, bastions, and a partially preserved gateway. A small temple and ancient hero stones can be seen inside the complex. Surrounded by greenery and a nearby lake, the fort area offers a quiet, park-like atmosphere.
